The ANVIS 9 Night Vision Goggles are based on the military DoD nomenclature AN/AVS-9. Significant design improvements have been made to the Aviator NV imaging system (ANVIS). Improving situational awareness, system performance, in addition to ergonomic and technological enhancements benefit both law enforcement and civil operators.
